The Thalia estate is located in the hills above the city of Cluny (founded as an abbey), northwest of Mâcon.
We grow five acres of organic vines in an environment where biodiversity is important (meadows, woods, bocage, mixed cropping, etc.).
This clunisien vineyard is unusual because of its exposure – due west – and the variety of its soils. Our Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gamay are located on clay-limestone, marl clay and granite which gives our wines a beautiful aromatic palette.
As intermediaries between the soil and the glass, we are looking for authentic, dynamic, epicurean wines. A lot of our work is pure instinct.
