The Château de Lavernette is a family estate located where the terroirs of the Mâcon and Beaujolais wine-growing regions meet. All the plots are located within 1.5 km of the property, on very diverse soil types. Granites are predominant in the subsoil of the Beaujolais plots, while our Pouilly-Fuissé plots are on predominantly limestone-originated clays.
We are driven by the desire to produce high-quality wines that are as pure and natural as possible, with the greatest respect for the environment. We are Agriculture Biologique [organic farming] AB and DEMETER certified by the ECOCERT organization.
